The Orc was trying to take him alive because until now black elves did not exist except in their version of Muddle Earth. But the Elf knew elven kung fu. The writing and understanding of Tolkien's world is shameful. Remember they fired one the foremost experts on Middle Earth in Tom Shippey because he basically did his job and told them what they were doing was wrong.

Every fight scene in this show so far has lacked any sense of tension. Where PJ's LOTR was the epitome of building tension in a scene. We will never see a middle earth like that again.

Hotd season 1 was great. It felt like a solid prequel to a story that will most likely never be bested in GOT. Season 2 transformed the entire show, and it went from waiting to see what will happen next, to praying anything will happen at all. The dialogue has fallen off as well. Just my opinion.

If only Game Of Thrones had the same level of quality in their nighttime battle scenes 😭

I don't expect anything artistic from a tv series . Directors are doing what they are told to do so nothing good can happen . We are lucky that Jackson was passionate about the film and Harvey Weinstein couldn't sell the idea to Disney guys , because they thought that a Hobbit trip will be too boring for viewers , but he managed to sell it to Goldman Sachs bros who were only giving him the money and weren't really intervening .

Starting with that timeless beautiful conversation between Gandalf and Frodo is peak, there are so many wonderful emotional scenes in this series, it truly is the best series of all time.

I espeically liked the pressing manner in which the elves needed to get to Barabrimball or whatever his name is to save him from Sauron which is very far away from the elven homeland and instead of taking horses they simply run there :D

This us why people wanted peter to be the next iron man. He went from irresponsible to having to carry the weight of his loved ones lives, learned from his mistakes, grew into a more independent and powerful person through suffering, and came out a hero.

First iron man movie was like Japanese porn. Full 30-45 min normal story and character development then next half is full intense intercourse. Which makes it much more engaging

20:25 I disagree. I think Tony created Ultron because of the Chitari incident and the fear that was instilled to him. The 10 Rings definitely impacted Tony, but I view all the suites he created in Iron Man 3 as the manifestation of that. Tony even cites the Chitari in Age of Ultron, stating that they may not be ready for a second attempt from "what's out there". Good video overall.

The more Amazon's Rings of Wokeness advances, the more Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy becomes a greater masterpiece. Peter Jackson's LOTR gets old like wine. On the other hand, Amazon's Rings of Power gets old like milk.

Your comparison is so bad. You show a really identical fight scene but make completely different observations when they can be made for both scenes. Yes, the writing and acting is horrible but this is like the argument that the eagles could of just taken the ring and dropped it into the volcano - but then there wouldn't be 3 movies. You think throwing a shield and having it land perfectly with out decapitating him makes sense and it's not movie magic??????? Or him not biting his face also????? Or not snaping his neck????? This is how every movie/show works now: every single "good" character has to be indistinguishable from the bad ones in terms of personality. All characters are individualistic egotistical assholes. Some of them happen to be helping the good cause but their drive isn't doing good or fighting for others because this isn't "realistic". Yeah, all humans are assholes. Apparently, elves too.
